With the racing taking place just five metres from the shore of Harbor Island, the man-made peninsula located close to Downtown San Diego, the Series looks set to make a show-stopping return to the Americas for the penultimate Act. Enjoying a very temperate climate, the Californian city of San Diego sees consistent breezes, making it a popular sailing spot for California and the rest of the west coast.
Friday 20 October will be Military Appreciation Day, sponsored by the SEAL Family Foundation. Members of the armed forces are offered free admission for themselves and a guest to the VIP Foiling Club with a valid military ID.
Saturday 21 October is Family Day, sponsored by Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.

The free-to-enter public Race Village is located on Harbor Island, with the fleet going head-to-head just metres from the shore.
Racing will take place from 14:00 - 17:00 UTC-7 daily.
On Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October, fans can follow the racing online via the LIVE blog.
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October, fans can watch the LIVE stream of the racing on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
On Sunday 22 October racing will be broadcast LIVE from 15:30 - 17:00 UTC-7 on TV channels across the globe, so keep an eye on your local TV listings.
